Covert Airsoft’s Warranty
The different airsoft manufactures have their own warranties on their guns (see Manufacturer Warranty below). Covert Airsoft does not warranty any of their airsoft guns or accessories. If there is a Manufacturers Warranty, it will be included in the box you receive with your purchase, otherwise there is no warranty, either expressed or implied, and ALL SALES ARE FINAL. Exception: There may be some accessory items that may be exchanged. Example: If you order a camo shirt and it is the wrong size, as long as it is in “new condition” (not worn, or washed) and returned with all the original packaging, we will exchange it for another size. However, before anything is returned, you must request an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number.
To do this: Go to the “contact us” tab and fill it out with an explanation of the problem, the item, and what you want to do. We will respond with further instructions and RMA# if applicable, otherwise all sales are final. There are no returns on electrical items.
For your gun warranties, see the Manufacturers Warranty Section.
If you enjoy this sport you will experience, and should expect breakage, malfunctions, and damage to the equipment. It’s just part of the sport. The equipment is subject to wear out, jam, strip, or break, let alone the field abuse, or damage from rain, dirt, sand, dropping it, or a fall that may happen during a skirmish. Inexperience with the mechanics, or proper usage of airsoft equipment also increases breakage or damage.
Airsofting is a fun, adrenalin pumping, athletic sport, but it is tough on the equipment.
Manufacturers Warranty:
All warranties my be void if you attempt to remove, alter, or change the ¼ inch permanent orange blaze on the barrel tip. You must not attempt to alter, or change your replica airsoft gun in any way as to make it look more like a real gun. Anyone doing this may be violating state or federal laws.
The guns must not be misused, abused, exposed to water, rain, sand, mud, or anything that can get inside the gun and damage it.
Never, Never, Never, use cheap BB’s. Use only premium 20mm or better BB’s, or you may damage the gun.
Warranties are void if you perform unauthorized service, testing, adjustments, modifications, alterations, or installations, all of which may damage the gun.
Manufacturers defect: If you notice a manufacturers defect that diminishes the performance of the product, you should immediately (within 24-48 hours) of receiving the product, follow the instructions found at the Manufacturers website listed below.
For Classic Army, KWA, TSD, or ICS, you will need to ship your gun directly to the manufacturer / distributor (not Covert Airsoft).
What to do: Go to their website and get the RMA (return merchandise authorization) information, and do exactly as they instruct you to do.
Classic Army: www.spartanimports.com
Phone:650.589.5501 m-f 9am-5pm pst
KWA: www.kwaairsoft.com
Phone: 626.581.1777
TSD & ICS: www.tsd.com
Phone: 626.281.0979 9-5 pst
Or e-mail their service department at: rma@teamsd.com
Echo 1: Go to www.jagprecision.com and click on the ‘RMA Policy’ tab to get return instructions.
Phone: 626.448.9879 9-5 pst.
For Echo 1’s, you must read their list of what qualifies to be able to return a product.
1) It must be in ‘brand new condition’ with no scratches.
2) It must be in the original box, and shipped inside a bigger box. Do not wrap the original box in paper and ship it that way. (the original box may get dented during shipping and make the box look used or abused so they may refuse it)
3) You must include the original sales invoice. (make a photocopy for yourself)
4) There must be no evidence of abuse, or tampering (removing the orange tip, or trying to fix it yourself).
You must only use a premium 20mm BB. Do not use the cheaper BB’s or you will damage the gun! Do not use the wrong size BB or you will damage the gun.
Note: Echo 1 is the only gun that may require that you send the defective product to us first, then we send it to them, they send it back to us when it’s repaired (which may take 2 or more months), then we will send it back to you. Plus, Echo 1 has a $20.00 inspection fee you will be responsible to pay. There are 4 shipping charges that YOU will be responsible to pay! Example: If shipping costs are $16.00 each time for a 14lb.UPS ground delivery, then 4 x 16.00 = $64.00 + their inspection fee of $20.00 = $84.00 that you might spend just for shipping & inspection!!
You may want to just save that money and use it to buy another gun!!
Or you may want to find a local repair shop in your area. It may be quicker and cheaper.
If you decide to make the return, be sure to put their RMA# (return merchandise authorization) on the package, and it must be shipped within 48 hours of receiving the RMA. Also keep a photocopy of your original invoice for your records before sending the original to Jag Precision / Echo 1.
NOTE: You cannot openly expose or display any replica firearm (your airsoft gun) in a “public place.” This refers to any area that is exposed to public view, including streets, sidewalks, alleys, plazas, parks, driveways, parking lots, automobiles, bridges, open land, or any buildings open to the public. Keep in mind that it is a federal offence to remove, change, or alter the orange blaze barrel tip. Doing so may VOID ANY WARRANTY
